High Park: Toronto's largest park




High Park is Toronto's largest park which spans 161 hectares. It is a mecca of summer activities and it has an excellent cultural, sporting and educational facilities. It also has playgrounds, gardens, picnic tables and rare oak savannah ecology.

The Park also features hiking trails, parking lots, dog walking areas, a restaurant and outdoor patio, pool and is convenient to public transportation--both for buses and subway line.

In summer, the Canadian Stage company presents "Dream in High Park" which features plays of the world-renowned writer, Shakespeare.



Skating and Ice Hockey at High Park

An artificial ice rink is open for the public on the north side of the pool for the skating and ice hockey pleasure activities.

Please be reminded that during the UNSUPERVISED HOURS, you use the rink at your own risk. Do not leave valuables in the change room.

Nearest subway: High Park subway station
Depart and head South on QUEBEC AVE (73 metres), turn left at BLOOR ST W (204 metres). Total walking distance: 277 metres. Total walking time: 4 minutes.

High Park doesn't have rental facilities for both ice skating and ice hockey but it's free to use the rink. So, bring your own skating and ice hockey equipments.
